Logo concept for my Digital Media Design entrance portfolio. We were tasked to create a logo from one of the imaginary companies provided. Park Chat is supposed to be an app for campers to be able to find and book campsites and chat among other park enthusiasts.

I designed this logo with camping and chat apps in mind. The result is a tent inside a speech bubble. I made sure to tie in both icons by making the door flap of the tent as the tail of the speech bubble. I also tried to keep the design simple as it was meant to be a tiny app logo. The colors were inspired by the great outdoors- green for foliage and blue for the sky. The color orange is supposed to signify adventure and social communication. Together, I believe that my logo design really conveys the app's identity while keeping it distinctive, simple, and memorable.
